Regarding waste treatment, Nómade implements the concept of "zero waste". The organic waste is composted and then used as fertilizer in the local garden. Recyclable waste is sent to a municipal treatment plant.
Nómade also uses a minimum of plastics in its amenities and supplies. The containers are glass or recyclable, and the cleaning products are biodegradable.
