Nautical safari

The Rico arm is the setting of this nautical walk, sailing in front of the great mole of the Perito Moreno glacier, amid blocks of bluish icebergs, to the rhythm of the waters of Lake Argentino. The excursions offer beautiful panoramas of the glacier, its caverns, vaults and internal lagoons. The Nautical Safari departs from The Port Under the Shadows, located at km 71 of route 11, distant an hour and a half from El Calafate. Visitors must arrive on their own to the port to embark on the comfortable Hielo & Aventura boats. It is a walk suitable for all ages and has an hour of sailing. It can be done all year round and it is recommended to pay attention to the equipment: comfortable and warm clothing, waterproof jacket and trousers, hat, gloves, comfortable footwear, sunglasses, sunscreen, food and drinks. In summer, it is ideal to dress in layers, "onion style".
