This golf couse is located in the southern end of the American continent, in the City of Ushuaia, on the Tierra del Fuego Island. It is surroudned b ya privileged natural scenery, ideal to get disconnected from the turmoil of the city and to enjoy a good game, in the southernmost spot in the planet. The fairways in this circuit are outlined in the background of a fertile natural valley with soft undulations, surrounded by the last hills in the Andes mountain range. The greens are too small and they are bordered by the Pipo River, which plays a very important role in the development of the game, thus turning this course into a complicated circuit. The hole presenting the hardest difficulties is hole 8. It is par 5 because it has a slope to the left and the river must be crossed in order to get to it. Sponsored by master Roberto De Vicenzo, only 45 meters separate the hotel reception from the couse. It has 3 par-3 holes with 3 tees each and high greens of approximately 60 square meters. Furthermore, a 9-hole putting green lies opposite the restaurant. A golf instructor is available for all those guests who wish to practice and learn the techniques of this sport. |
