Independencia y Pasaje Héroes de Malvinas, Neuquén, Neuquén, Argentina
The Paraje Confluencia Museum, located at the intersection of Independencia and Pasaje Héroes de Malvinas streets in the city of Neuquén, is a space that invites you to explore the history and culture of the region. This museum is housed in buildings dating back to the 1930s, originally built by the Ferrocarril del Sud company to house railway personnel. These houses, assembled together, feature brick architecture with zinc sheet roofs and pine and ceramic tile floors, reflecting the English style of the early twentieth century.
After a restoration in 1998, the museum opened its doors to the public, dedicating its rooms to narrate the key events of the first settlers of Neuquén, their experiences and undertakings. The collection includes images and objects that make up the story of the constitution and development of the city.
