Playas Doradas is a seaside resort on the warm waters of the San Matías Gulf, located in the municipality of Sierra Grande. Its name comes from the fine sands, almost unique on the coast of the Argentine Sea, whose fragmentation of quartz and silica, causes the golden reflections that refer to the name of the site.
The tourist village, distant about 32 km east of the town of Sierra Grande, along Provincial Route 5, is a growing destination, ideal to enjoy the beaches, nature and nautical activities. Due to its natural characteristics, Playas Doradas is one of the jewels included in the program of Authentic Villages of Argentina. The original name was El Salado, in reference to the stream that flows into the sea, north of the beach.
These extensive beaches of Rio de Janeiro of gentle slope are caressed by the sea. Silence and tranquility are perfect for resting, in a serene and natural environment, only interrupted by the sea wind. It is a destination with infrastructure in development and with easily accessible beach in all its extension, the haven to recover energy, disconnect and enjoy with family.
