Transmarchilay S.A. is a ro-ro and passenger maritime transport company that has been operating since 1971, connecting the island of Chiloé with the mainland through the crossing of the Chacao Channel on the Pargua-Chacao route. The service is available 24/7, year-round.

Fleet of Boats:

_Ruende: Built in 2002 in Valdivia and refurbished in 2012, it has a passenger lounge for 40 people, cafeteria and dining service, six bathrooms (one for people with disabilities) and capacity for approximately 50 cars.
_Trehuaco: Ferry acquired in 2003 and refitted in 2012, it offers a passenger lounge for 30 people, cafeteria and dining service, ten bathrooms (one for people with disabilities) and capacity for approximately 60 cars.
_Camahueto: Boat with capacity for approximately 35 cars, equipped with cafeteria service and accessible bathrooms for people with disabilities.
_Kataik: Vessel with technical specifications similar to the above, offering passenger and cargo transport services
