The Municipal Historical Museum of Puerto Natales is a space dedicated to preserving and disseminating the history and cultural heritage of the province of Última Esperanza, in the Magallanes region, Chile. Founded in 1990, the museum exhibits a collection of objects, documents and photographs that allow us to learn about the development of the area, from its first indigenous inhabitants to European colonization and the rise of the cattle industry.

The museum's rooms present exhibitions on the Kawésqar and Tehuelche people, the first inhabitants of the region, highlighting their nomadic way of life and their relationship with nature. You can also see elements related to the arrival of European explorers, the installation of the first settlers and the impact of the Sociedad Explotadora de Tierra del Fuego, a company that marked the local economy with wool production.
