The Desiderio Torres Regional Museum, located in Sarmiento, province of Chubut, Argentina, is an institution dedicated to preserving and disseminating the history and culture of the region. Inaugurated on June 21, 1972, it owes its name to a respected aboriginal settler who collaborated with the first settlers in their settlement in the valley.

The museum is located in the building of the old Sarmiento railway station, which adds additional historical value to its location. Its collection comprises approximately 24,000 pieces ranging from paleontological remains to archaeological objects and historical elements of the various cultures that have inhabited the region, including indigenous communities such as the Tehuelche and Mapuches, as well as European settlers of Welsh, Dutch and South African origin.
