Casa Yagüe is located in Trevelin, a family project rooted in the love for the countryside and nature. Since 2004, the Yagüe family has been shaping this unique corner, a natural paradise near Los Alerces National Park and on the banks of the Futaleufú River. Year after year, they shape landscapes, infrastructure and proposals for visitors.
Vineyards, tastings and creative cuisine
In 2014 the first hectare of vineyard marked the beginning. After learning and traveling around Argentina and the world, in 2017 Marcelo Yagüe and Patricia Ferrari launched their inaugural wine, followed by the construction of Casa Yagüe Winery a year later. Committed to sustainability, the winery fuses vineyard, orchard, livestock and sheep, using animal manure and organic and biodynamic methods.
Over time, they have expanded the vineyard with ed varieties appropriate for the local climate. Chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, semillon, marsanne, cabernet franc, pinot noir and malbec are the vines that thrive in this corner of Patagonia.
In 2020 they opened their doors to tourism, offering visitors a unique experience in their cottages, harmoniously integrated with nature, a refuge where privacy and relaxation merge with the landscape. With the Futaleufú River as a back, they also provide boating and sport fishing activities, as well as a swimming pool and lagoons to enjoy the natural environment.
The winery is the heart of this proposal in the valley of Trevelin, a destination that stands out for its serene atmosphere and air of tranquility. To complement the enjoyment, they have incorporated a restaurant that highlights everything grown in their garden, from vegetables and herbs to edible flowers. Their philosophy is to bring the fresh produce from the garden to the kitchen and propose a feast of colors, flavors and textures that will delight diners.
Casa Yagüe is a project that embraces the land, nature and the mastery of winemaking. With each harvest, they not only cultivate grapes, but also experiences, values and the firm conviction that a good wine emanates from a happy and healthy vineyard. Casa Yagüe wines reflect the purity of the place.
The mild climate and the rich Welsh tradition are intertwined in this community of Chubut, where you can explore old tea houses to end the day with a comforting snack. The winery invites you to enjoy the southern wines and explore the proposal of visit and tasting, accompanied by gastronomy and local products.
