Inacayal y Arrayanes Piso 1 Of 3, Villa La Angostura, Neuquén, Argentina
Expedition Limay is an experience that combines adventure, landscapes and tranquility. It departs from Villa La Angostura, following the route of Route 40 to the south, bordering the imposing Nahuel Huapi Lake. After about an hour of travel, the tour arrives at Las Mellizas, a serene corner where the rafting activity begins. There, the group embarks on a raft to sail for just over an hour on the waters of the Limay River, a calm and scenic journey, ideal to enjoy with familyfriends. During the journey, you will cross typical Patagonian landscapes: plateaus, rock formations and low vegetation that frames the serenity of the river. At the end, a snack is offered to recharge your batteries before starting the return. The entire tour is accompanied by specialized guides who ensure a safe and entertaining experience, in full contact with nature.
On the other hand, the trip to the Arrayanes Forest is an invitation to immerse yourself in an almost magical environment. The trip begins at the port of Villa La Angostura, where a catamaran departs for the tip of the Quetrihué Peninsula. After about 50 minutes of navigation, you arrive at one of the most emblematic places of the Nahuel Huapi National Park: a unique forest in the world, inhabited exclusively by centenary myrtles. With their cinnamon-colored trunks and soft, cold-to-the-touch bark, myrtles create an atmosphere that looks something out of a fairy tale. The walk along wooden walkways allows you to tour this natural sanctuary without altering its delicate ecosystem, while a park guide accompanies the group sharing data, stories and curiosities of the place. It is a serene, contemplative experience, perfect for those who seek to connect with the Patagonian beauty from a more introspective place.
