The Carmen Funes Museum, located in Plaza Huincul, province of Neuquén, Argentina, is an emblematic space that combines history, paleontology and regional culture. Founded in 1984, it is named after Carmen Funes, a pioneer of the area known as "La Pasto Verde", in homage to her historical legacy and her role in the colonization of the area.

The museum is internationally recognized for housing the remains of Argentinosaurus huinculensis, one of the largest dinosaurs discovered so far. This colossal herbivore, which inhabited the region more than 90 million years ago, is the museum's main attraction, attracting scientists, researchers, and tourists from all over the world. Its replica skeleton, imposing in size, offers a fascinating perspective on prehistoric life in Patagonia.
